emancipation

We're funny creatures, us humans.

We are born convinced we are inadequate, we aren't good enough, we are perfectly flawed.

And we spend the rest of our lives trying to compensate for that fact.

I think every one of us, each and every lost lamb, bears the grudges of daily life in hope that one day; one day, when we look in the mirror, we will see someone who is good enough

We are so critical of ourselves, far more so than we are of family or friends. Everytime I look in the mirror, I see someone lost and waiting. Waiting, for what? For the day I become emancipated. For the day that society can finally love itself.
