absurdism freudism

The distinguishing features of melancholia are a profoundly painful dejection, cessation of interest in the outside world, loss of the capacity to love regarding feelings to a degree that finds utterance in self reproaches and self revilings

- Freud, Mourning and Melancholia

Loss of the capacity to love -
what is lost, can be found.

As easily as that?
Like chasing a crumpled dollar bill blown away by winter winds down the grey streets?
Did Freud really think so?

What the wind blows away travels round the world and back, a lifetime to the diseased mind, before perchance, landing at your feet again whereby you have long forgot and can barely recognise yourself.
