I haven't been online in a whole week. Yes, there is a tonne to catch up on in the virtual disembodied world: facebook comments to reply to, diaries to read, email to check, youtube to watch, timewasters to play, songs to download...But... that time passed by in a blur, so naturally. For once, my life wasn't dictated by the artificial. Time wasn't measured by a mechanical worm ticking inside a monitor, days not defined by facebook statuses or album releases, nor documented by diary posts. I didn't miss the internet - not once. I feel so much healthier. Natural. The way life should be lead; life should not be spent sitting in front of boxes. Is this the old school feeling? Back before computers or internet or technology was ever invented?
