idiosyncratic
I have a new interest, one that satisfies the idiosyncrasies of my personality like the final piece in a jigsaw.

It is almost a neurotic fascination.

I really like assembling pieces of furniture. You know the ones you buy from Ikea or wherever; beds, chairs, drawers, closets � that arrive in a strange appearance indeed. It looks nothing like it did in the shop, instead it is an assortment of planks and screws, cardboard plastic appendages of some dismembered being.

I was putting together a new office chair for my desk today, with slices of pineapple on the side. Oh how long it�s been since I�ve had the sweet, fresh form of the fruit. Perfect.
